America’s Most Biblically-Hostile U. S. President?

08 Mar

On the radio this morning, I heard portions of Glenn Beck reading from this article written by David Barton of WallBuilders.  In this article, Mr. Barton chronologically lists examples of disrespect or hostility directed at the Bible and people of Biblical faith (i.e. Christians and Jews) by the current U. S. President and his administration.  Each occurrence is referenced with a supporting endnote and link to the source information.  You may be shocked at what you read:

WallBuilders – Issues and Articles – America’s Most Biblically-Hostile U. S. President.

Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein. (Jer 6:16)

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. (1Jn 4:1-6)

Sorry to be heavy and perhaps atypical with this post, but the hour calls for us to be alert and ready.

Blessings,

Andy

I am right with you, Andy. I have also been remembering our nation in prayer.

    Love to all,
    Betty
