I was reading this morning in Genesis 32 (following my Bible Reading Plan :-)) when these words captured my attention (recorded as spoken by Jacob when he was returning from Padanaram to Canaan and anticipating an encounter with his brother Esau):

I am not worthy of the least of all the mercies, and of all the truth, which thou hast shewed unto thy servant; (Gen 32:10a)

Dear Lord, I thank and praise You for Your wonderful mercies towards me, a sinner undeserving of Your love.  Yet, You loved me enough to send Your Only Son, Jesus Christ, to this earth to die on the cross, paying the penalty that was owed for my sins.  Though I am unworthy myself, You make me worthy because I am in Your Son as my life is hid in His.  Thank You for saving me and opening my eyes to Your wonderful mercy and truth.  Amen. ~Andy

And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; (Rev 5:9)

I was given this CD for Christmas.  This song is one of my favorites:
