Our first blog post was about April snow, well now we have a record October snow! We measured about 8″ just before the storm ended late on Saturday, October 29. The snow was heavy and, since there were still leaves on the trees, the weight of the snow brought down many tree branches resulting in widespread power outages. We were without power from Saturday evening until later this morning. The children had fun sledding and building a snowman and snow fort. Daddy helped Isabella build her giant snowman. Overall, we had a fun time. However, it was another “first” where we missed Isaac. He loved the snow :-).
We are a family of five plus one in Heaven. Our writings focus on our family happenings and the exercising of our faith in Jesus Christ. After the tragic death of our son Isaac in April 2011, our writings have also focused largely on our journey through grief.
